Lighting control

All kinds of flowers have their own suitable lighting time. If artificial light treatment is given according to the sunlight required by the plant, it can make the flowers bloom in the season that is not suitable for flowering, which is called lighting treatment. Light treatment includes short day treatment, long day treatment, and light dark inversion.

(1) Short day plants can only bloom under short day conditions, but cannot bloom during the long day season.

(2) Long day plants can promote flowering under long day conditions, but cannot bloom during short day seasons. If long-term sunlight treatment is given, it can promote flowering.

Different flowers have different requirements for temperature due to their different origins. To change the flowering period of flowers, two measures can be taken: increasing temperature and decreasing temperature.
